Why should I book my stay here instead of Airbnb?
Each Junction House Getaways property is available for short and mid term stays through online travel agencies such as Airbnb & VRBO which function as third-party platforms. However, you can save the service fees by booking directly through our website, offering you the same quality stay at a lower price.
What are the requirements to book directly?
You must be at least 25 years of age (and be willing to provide proof at the time of reservation), and you will be responsible for all other persons staying in the property during the reservation. You will need to provide a valid credit card for any incidentals.
What’s the process of booking directly?
Upon completion of the reservation process on our direct booking site, your dates will be reserved, and payment will be charged. A representative from Junction House Getaways will be reviewing your reservation to make sure that all of the information is complete, correct, and that the reservation meets our minimum nights and any additional requirements. You will receive a final confirmation of your reservation within two business days.
At the time you make your reservation, 100% of the accommodations fee will be charged to your credit card. The cleaning fee and all other fees will NOT be charged until one day prior to check in. You’ll receive all the check in details through email 5 days prior to your stay.
Can we set up multiple payments?
Unfortunately, no. Upon making your reservation, 100% of the accommodation fees will be charged to your credit card. The cleaning fee and any other fees or taxes will be charged one day prior to check in.
What fees are included?
Besides the accommodation fees, reservation fees include, but are not limited to, cleaning fees and lodging taxes, where applicable.
What is your cancellation & refund policy?
We allow free cancellation for 48 hours, as long as it’s cancelled at least 30 days before check in. After that, you may cancel up to 14 days before check-in and get a 50% refund of the nightly rate as well as the entire cleaning fee. All cancellations must be in writing.
Can I still book on Airbnb or VRBO?
Absolutely! If you’re more comfortable reserving a stay on a 3rd party platform, we’re happy to host you any way possible.
What if we need to change/alter our reservation?
Send us an email before the cancellation deadline to let us know!
How much is the security deposit and when is it refunded?
A $500 Security Deposit hold will be placed on your Credit Card 2 days prior to your arrival and will be released within 7 days after your departure as long as no damage was incurred by the guest.
Can I bring my pet?
We do love our furry friends however Junction House Getaway properties are not pet friendly and we can not accommodate stays with any animals whatsoever.
What if there’s an issue at the property?
We’ll do everything in our power to ensure your stay is comfortable and hassle free. If there is a malfunction or any issue, we ask that you let us know immediately by texting our team at 647-237-2277. We will make every effort to resolve the issue in a reasonable amount of time.
What’s the process for check-in?
Similar to online platforms like Airbnb or VRBO, we will send all your check-in details prior to your stay (typically 2 days before check-in). You’ll have all the information you need to find the house and enter with a code or key at your convenience after the posted check-in time.
What are the rental rules?
We encourage you to read over the Terms and Conditions for our full Rental Agreement. Each property’s listing will include their own specific house rules, and in addition, the following rules apply to ALL properties:
· No smoking or vaping within 25 ft of a house or doorway
· No illegal drugs or substances
· No fireworks, firearms, explosives, or dangerous items
· Candle or incense burning is not permitted
Are linens and supplies provided?
Yes! You’ll find starter items such as coffee, tea, sugar, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, laundry detergent, toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher soap and dish soap in your property. Once these items have been exhausted, it is your responsibility to replenish as needed during the length of your stay.
May I invite visitors to the property?
We do not allow gatherings, events, or parties at most of our properties (see each listing’s house rules to confirm) and as such, we reserve our homes for confirmed overnight guests. No visitors may come onto the property without the written permission of the hosts prior to your stay.
