Hot Tubs in our Short Term Rentals

When you’re travelling you want to be able indulge a little and have a chance to unwind and relax right? We love to provide extra amenities in our short-term rentals and hot tubs are a big one! They are also one of the top amenities’ guests search for when looking to book a place so it can be a worthwhile investment for hosts too.

Hot tubs are fun, but they also have some health benefits such as stress relief, muscle relaxation, improved sleep, pain relief, better cardiovascular health, improved insulin sensitivity, and calorie burn… it's true! You can verify for yourself in the medical studies linked below (or share with your partner if you need some help convincing them to book an Airbnb with a hot tub!)

Now we wouldn’t be responsible hosts if we didn’t share our Hot Tub rules with our guests. We don’t want to be party poopers, but we need to ensure that people are safe and respectful.

So in case you are curious, when staying in one of our properties with a Hot Tub this is what you can expect:
  • Guests under 18 years of age are not permitted to use the hot tub unsupervised.

  • Do not have any electrical objects near the hot tub.

  • Do not use the hot tub if you have a had a spray tan in the last 6 weeks.

  • Do not consume food, drinks or alcohol whilst using the hot tub.

  • Do not use the hot tub whilst under the influence of Drugs or Alcohol.

  • Do not use the hot tub if you have an infectious disease.

  • Do not enter the hot tub with clothes on, only wear suitable swimming attire.

  • Do not enter the hot tub with footwear on or any other sharp objects.

  • Do not dive or jump into the hot tub.

  • Do not sit on the sides or cover of the hot tub.

  • Do not drain or remove any filters.

  • Do not use the hot tub alone.

  • Do not use hot tub if water gets below jets. You will need to refill hot tub with hose provided. To prevent this, keep large splashes to a minimum.

  • Do shower before entering the hot tub. No make-up, lotions or perfumes should be on when using the hot tub.

  • Do keep the thermal cover on when not in use.

  • The striped towels provide are for use in hot tub. Do not use white bathroom towels outside.

  • We have left some little packages of “Hot Tub Shock”, as noted on the label you can open one and put in the hot tub after your last use before you leave. This helps keep the water fresh, clean and bacteria free.
